Nobody’s Perfect

I love my talks with P in the car. Today, we were listening to a new story about how doctors make mistakes, and talking about all the kinds of mistake different people might makes – bus drivers, doctors, lawyers, horses (hey, it’s possible, right?).

P: But why do they make those mistakes?
M: Because everybody makes mistakes. We’re humans, and humans aren’t perfect.
P: YOU’RE not perfect?
M: No, I’m not.
P: But I call you perfect!

I’m sure he won’t think that in another 30 years. Heck, he won’t think that in another 8 years, so I had to record it for posterity.
